Makinde's Jagunmolu's Title, Recognition Of Rare Courage, Resilience Against Antidemocratic Forces–Akeem Olatunji

Jagunmolu Chieftaincy Title: Amb. Arapaja Congratulates Governor Seyi Makinde

  The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Governor Seyi Makinde, on the Conferment of the title of "Jagunmolu of Ondo Kingdom " by the Osemawe of Ondo, Oba Adesimbo Victor Kiladejo. The conferement of the Chieftaincy title on Governor Makinde was part of activities marking the 70th birthday and 17th coronation anniversary of the Monarch on Friday 10th November, 2023. APC’s Uzodinma clears all 27 LGAs in Imo

  The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Saturday Imo gubernatorial election and incumbent Governor of the state, Hope Uzodimma, has won all the 27 local government results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Following the completion on Saturday, collation of results started around 02:30am on Sunday at the State Collation in Owerri, the state capital, with the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, Prof Abayomi Fashina, as the state Returning Officer for the election. Though no fewer than 18 political parties fielded candidates in the poll, none of the other three major contenders, including Samuel Anyanwu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party’s Achonu Nneji and Jack Ogunewe of the Action Alliance, won any local government.
