 The people's Democratic party candidate for the forthcoming local government election slated for April 27,This year has promised total development on the economy of the council when he assumes the office. The chairmanship candidate made this known yesterday while addressing the party members at ward 11Gbonje/olele of Okeho.In his speech, Hon.Mustapha Olawale said,"Economic development is not only vitally important in our local government because it creates more opportunity and a better way of life for constituents, but also increases funds to improve municipal service delivery and allows public sector businesses to grow in revenue as well" The chairmanship candidate used the avenue to appreciate the party members for standing firmly to the line of party.   The Chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Oluyole ahead of the April Local Government election in Oyo state, Akeem Olatunji and his counterpart from Lagelu Local Government, Hon Kamorudeen Mudashiru, and the Senior Special Assistant on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters to Governor Seyi Makinde, Honourable Ramata Agberemi Dabo, have visited the scene of the devastated Ibadan explosion. The trio, who arrived the scene in company of other aides and party stalwarts yesterday, January 18, lamented the magnitude of damage caused by the explosion. While commending Governor Seyi Makinde for his promptness in rising up to arrest the tragic blast and its aftermath, Olatunji expressed his commiserations to all the victims of the blast while sending condolences to families of those who lost their loved ones.
