Member representing Ibadan North-East/Ibadan South-East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. The recent condemnation of Akeem Olatunji by a certain group for cautioning party members or groups within the PDP in Oyo State is misguided and unfortunate. Akeem Olatunji’s stance was aimed at fostering party unity and ensuring that all members align with the vision and leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde. As the overall leader of the PDP in Oyo State, Governor Makinde’s choice of aspirants is crucial in maintaining the progress and stability that the party has achieved. Any attempt to undermine this leadership by showing sympathy for other aspirants without considering the governor’s input threatens the cohesion of the party.
