Asaba, Delta State - Team Oyo achieved a trifecta of medals on Sunday, September 15th, at the ongoing National Youth Games, solidifying its position as a top contender. In the Table-tennis Boys Singles final, Ayoola Usman and Ayatullahi Ahmed faced off in an all-Oyo state showdown. After a thrilling five-set match, Ayoola Usman emerged victorious, claiming gold and reasserting Oyo state's dominance in cadet table-tennis. Ayatullahi Ahmed secured silver, ensuring a double medal haul for Team Oyo. In athletics, Abass Ayomide Taofikat sprinted to a bronze medal in the 100m Girls' Final with an unofficial time of 12.10s.
