LG Poll: Akeem Olatunji Rounds Off Ward Tour, Sets To Begin House-to-house Campaign In Oluyole

The chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming April 27 local government election in Oyo state, Akeem Olatunji has rounded off his campaign tour to the 10 wards in the Council.  Consequently, the party is set to begin a house-to-house campaign as a follow up to the ward tour as part of measures to ensure no stone was left unturned before the LG election.  A statement by Olatunji, a civil engineer cum politician, on Sunday February 20 indicated that the last wards visited include wards 3, 4, 9 and 6 to conclude the tour.  The statement also indicated that party leaders, elders, political and non political stakeholders, interest groups including artisans, farmers, traders and landlord associations, community development leaders, religious and traditional leaders, sociocultural organizations, and others across the entire 10 wards openly gave their endorsements and declared Olatunji as their sole chairmanship candidate at the coming council poll.
