*Special Adviser to Governor Commends Swift Resolution of 10-Year Boundary Dispute, Celebrates School Reopenings*


 

In a commendation statement today, Hon. Abiodun Suraj Oloye-Tiamy, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education Intervention, expressed heartfelt appreciation for Governor Seyi Makinde's decisive action in reopening 23 schools in Atiba, Afijio, Oyo West, and Oyo East Local Governments. This momentous decision comes as a resolution to a decade-long boundary dispute.


Hon. Oloye-Tiamy specifically lauded the efforts of Deputy Governor Barr. Bayou Lawal, who not only oversees the reconciliation committee but has played a crucial role in bringing about this positive change. The commendations extended to Hon. Commissioner for Education Prof. Saliu Adelabu, Dr. Nureni Adeniran, Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), and the four Local Government Chairmen, all of whom served as key committee members.
