The partnership according to Engr. Akeem Olatunji, seeks to equip young individuals in Oluyole with essential skills necessary for thriving in today's competitive job market.

Olatunji disclosed to newsmen yesterday after the Training workshop held at the Council Secretariat, Idi-Ayunre, that the initiative was in line with efforts of the Governor Seyi Makinde led government in its job creation drive for the teeming youths drawn from across the 10 wards in Oluyole LG.

The program encompasses a diverse range of vocational training sessions tailored to meet the demands of various industries. Participants will had the opportunity to acquire practical skills in fields such as technology, agriculture, hospitality, and entrepreneurship.

In his words: "This collaboration marks a critical step towards addressing youth unemployment and promoting self-reliance among our young population.

"By working together with the two private employment firms that have over the years distinguished themselves as reputable organizations, we are creating pathways for our youths to gain meaningful employment opportunities and contribute positively to our local government's economic development.

"The one day training was designed not only to impart technical expertise but also to instill leadership qualities and business acumen among the participants.

"This is so because we believe that investing in the youth is key to driving economic growth and reducing unemployment rates. Through this initiative, we aim to empower young people in Oluyole by equipping them with the requisite skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen vocational fields.

Speaking on the collaboration, representative of private employment firms in their separate remarks emphasized their commitments to promoting sustainable development within local communities while equally forging an enduring collaboration with key stakeholders in government.

They commended Engr. Olatunji for his foresight in preparing the ground for youth employability in Oluyole local government by partnering with the firms to provide the skill acquisition training workshop.
