Youth Business Showcase: Oyo Government Hosts Successful Exhibition as Part of International Youth Week



The Oyo State Government has hosted young business exhibitors with a vibrant business exhibition, showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit and innovative talents of young people in the state. The event, which took place at the Amphitheatre, Adamasingba featured a diverse range of young business owners and entrepreneurs, displaying their products and services to a packed audience.


Honourable Wasilat Adegoke, Commissioner for Youth and Sports, welcomed the exhibitors and attendees, emphasizing the government's commitment to empowering young people through entrepreneurship and skills development.


"We believe that our youths are the drivers of economic growth and development," she said. "This exhibition is a testament to our government's dedication to providing opportunities for young people to showcase their talents, access markets, and create jobs."


The exhibition featured a wide range of products and services, including fashion designs, food processing, crafts, technology solutions, and more. The young exhibitors were eager to share their stories, showcase their products, and connect with potential customers and investors.


The young exhibitors expressed gratitude for the opportunity to showcase their businesses. "This is a great platform for us to showcase our products and connect with customers," said Ige Francisca, a 25-year-old bag designer. "We appreciate the government's support for young entrepreneurs."


Another exhibitor, Mrs Yetunde Moradeyo,  praised the government for creating a conducive environment for entrepreneurship. "We need more initiatives like this to help us grow our businesses and create jobs," she said.


As the business exhibition came to a close, the young entrepreneurs and exhibitors took to the stage to display their hidden talents. The audience was treated to an electrifying display of dance steps, music, and art, showcasing the diverse creative skills of the youths.


The talent show display at the program was an unexpected highlight of the event, with many of the exhibitors surprising everyone with their impressive dance moves, singing voices, and artistic abilities. The energy was palpable as the youths took turns showcasing their talents, with the audience cheering and clapping along
