As part of measures targeted at improving healthcare access for residents, Oluyole Local Government Area (LGA) has partnered with a Health Foundation; The Samaritans Heart for Humanity Foundation, to host a free medical outreach.  The one-day medical outreach which also include collaboration with Compassionate For The Aged Foundation and Salvation Initiative For The Vulnerables aims to provide free consultation, diagnostic services, and cataracts surgery for the people of Oluyole LG.  The executive chairman of Oluyole LGLG, Engr. Akeem Olatunji disclosed this in a statement on Thursday morning (today).  According to the council chairman, the one-day event, which will hold at the Oluyole LGA Secretariat, Idi-Ayunre on November 8 is expected to particularly attract the vulnerables and aged members of the council. Oluyole Inaugurates NYSC Local Government Committee

  Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State has become the first in the state to inaugurate a statutory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Local Government Committee, in line with the NYSC Act. The inauguration, which took place recently, was presided over by the Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engineer Akeem Olatunji.  Speaking at the inauguration yesterday at the LG Secretariat, Idi-Ayunre in Ibadan, Olatunji emphasized the significance of prioritizing the welfare of Corps members, which he said motivated the establishment of the committee.  He reiterated his commitment to creating a conducive environment for Corps members serving in the council area.  "As Chairman, I am committed to supporting the Corps members, and ensure their well-being, and also ensure their smooth integration into our community," Olatunji stated. In an impressive display of knowledge, intellectual prowess, and critical thinking, Miss Aladetan Ileladewa Opeyemi, a student from the Oyo state Comprehensive Model College, has emerged as the winner of the maiden Oluyole Local Government Inter-School Quiz competition.   The thrilling event, which saw students from several secondary schools across Oluyole Local Government Area battling for academic supremacy, culminated in Aladetan's victory, earning her school a coveted and unique prize–the chance for the student to serve as the One-Day Chairman of Oluyole Local Government.
