 PDP Nigeria on Thursday evening stated categorically that the Executive Governor of Oyo State Engr. Seyi Makinde is performing Superlatively in all ramifications, Mainly the way he's moving the Pace setter's State Economy into right direction.

1. Oyo State was the 3rd best performing State in terms of economic output in the socio-economic scorecard of

Nigerian States report of 2023 conducted by Analysts Data Services and Resources.

2. Oyo State's internally generated revenue (IGR) grew from N26.6 billion in 2019 to N62.2 billion in 2022.

3. Oyo State was the 2nd State in Nigeria with the highest IGR growth between 2019 and 2022 with a whopping 134% increase!

4. In 6th position, Oyo State is in the top 10 of States with the highest revenue generated from employees (PAYE) in Nigeria, an indication of increased economic activities in the State.
