Akeem Olatunji Rejoices With Babalola Afobaje, Falana, Fagbemi, Others Over Gov Makinde's Appointments


The Chairman-elect of Oluyole Local Government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, has expressed congratulations to Prince Falana Adebowale, Alhaji Babalola Afobaje, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi, and other new appointees following their appointments by Governor Seyi Makinde.



The Oluyole local government chairman-elect equally congratulated Seun Fakorede, Hon Ademola Omotosho, Elder Adekola, Hon Akeem Ademola Ige and Hon Funmilayo Arulogun for making the governor's list of new appointees in the service of Oyo state. 


This is contained in a congratulatory message by Olatunji on Saturday, May 18 and made available to newsmen in Ibadan. 


While Alhaji Babalola Afobaje was announced as the new chairman of Oyo State Rural Water and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA), Prince Falana was appointed as the Chairman of Oyo State Youth Development Agency, and Mogaji Akin Fagbemi appointed as the Chairman of the Oyo State Hospitals Management Board.


Overwhelmed by joy over the appointments of Alhaji Afobaje and Prince Falana, Olatunji described Governor Makinde as revolutionary leader who's words are always backed up with commensurate actions. 


He expressed his desires to work closely with the duo's offices as the executive chairman of Oluyole local government after his inauguration stressing that both Prince Falana and Alhaji Afobaje have been his long term friend and political ally with high integrity and commitments to the development of Oyo state. 


According to Olatunji who lauded the new appointees for their dedication and achievements, which have earned them these new positions described as very significant to the Sustainable Development Agenda under Omituntun 2.0, also stated that their appointments is placing round pegs in round holes. 


Olatunji expressed confidence in their capabilities and commitment to the progress of Oyo State while equally emphasizing that their new roles are well-deserved.


"I extend my warmest congratulations to Prince Falana Adebowale, Alhaji Babalola Afobaje, Mogaji Akin Fagbemi, and all others appointed by Governor Seyi Makinde. 


"Their appointments reflect their outstanding contributions and dedication to our state's development. I am confident they will excel in their new roles and continue to drive our state forward in line with the vision of our father and leader, Governor Seyi Makinde's sustainable development agenda." Olatunji stated.


Olatunji also commended Governor Makinde for his strategic selection of individuals, described as vibrant and resourceful to the Omituntun 2.0 economic expansion agenda as well as underpin the governor's commitment to inclusive governance and excellence. 


He noted that these appointments are a testament to the administration's focus on leveraging the expertise of distinguished young professionals to achieve its developmental goals.


The incoming Executives Chairman of Oluyole, Olatunji however, urged the new appointees to bring their wealth of experience to bear in their respective positions and work collaboratively with other arms and tiers of government to fulfill the administration's vision for a prosperous Oyo State. 


He assured them of his support and that of Oluyole Local Government in their endeavors assuring that his office will be opened to welcome synergies and collaborations that would further entrench the good governance in the state at the grassroots.
