Mrs. Balkis Olatunji, wife of the Oluyole Local Government Chairman, yesterday hosted all the wives of Councillors in the Council. In her welcome address, Mrs. Olatunji emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort in driving grassroots community development. Akeem Olatunji, UI Don, Private Firm Partner To Fight Malaria In Oluyole LG

The Executive Chairman of Oluyole local government, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, LG Electronics, and Professor Oladapo Okareh of Environmental Health, Department of Environmental Health Sciences, College of Medicine University of Ibadan, have collaborated to raise grassroots sensitization and awareness on Malaria prevention.  The collaboration according to the Council Chairman aims to address the persistent malaria challenges in Oluyole Local Government Area. Makinde Exposes FG’s Deceit: N570 Billion Hardship Fund a Loan, Not a Grant•Highlights Commitment to Productivity and Sustainability

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has addressed concerns over the purported N570 billion Hardship Fund allegedly given to the 36 states by the Federal Government. The governor in his news letter clarified that the funds were part of the World Bank-assisted NG-CARES project, a loan program aimed at supporting states in Nigeria with COVID-19 recovery. The governor explained that the funds were reimbursed to states for expenses already incurred in implementing the program, and not a grant from the Federal Government. He emphasized that Oyo State had been transparent in its handling of donor-facilitated interventions and had been recognized as a model for other states to follow. Governor Makinde also highlighted his administration’s commitment to productivity and sustainability, particularly in the agriculture sector. Oluyole LG Chairman Lays Foundation For Construction Of New Amotekun Base At Ayegun-Olunde

The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Engr Akeem Olatunji, has laid the foundation for a new security base of the Amotekun Corps in Ayegun-Olunde.  This move according to the Council boss was part of efforts to enhance security architecture and capacity of personnel in the area.  The foundation laying ceremony held today, August 3 at Ayegun-Olunde community, with traditional rulers, community and religious leaders as well as officials of Amotekun Corps in the area, present to witness the event.  Olatunji in his address, stated that the new facility situated in ward 1 of the LG, when completed will bolster the security infrastructure and improve response times to incidents within the area.
