Arapaja Felicitated with Makinde on his 56th birthday, Congratulates Christians on This Year Christmas Celebration



The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has felicitated the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on his 56th birthday anniversary today.


Ambassador Arapaja's congratulatory message was contained in a statement he issued and made available to  journalists through his Personal Assistant Bamitale Ibrahim in Ibadan.


Ambassador Arapaja stated that the birthday anniversary of Governor Makinde which also coincides with celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ is a thing of joy to all lovers of good governance in the state.


The statement reads : “On behalf of myself, family and the entire Peoples Democratic party (PDP) South, I rejoice with his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State and Vice-Chairman of Nigeria Governors' Forum on the occasion of your 56th birthday today.


“Your Excellency, there is no doubt that your life is full of blessings and you have been utilising these to the benefits of mankind. This is evident in your style of administration and  achievements in every facet of human endeavour,  since you came on board as the governor of the pacesetter state ".


You are a source of inspiration to everyone around you and we appreciate your positive impact on our lives."


Ambassador Arapaja prayed to Almighty God to continue to bless Governor Makinde with good health, long life and  happiness in his efforts to take Oyo State to greater heights.


Ambassador Arapaja equally sends season's greetings to Christian faithfuls on the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, and urged them to imbibe the spirit of love, caring, sharing and perseverance which the life of Jesus’ Christ exemplifies.


“As we celebrate this year’s Christmas we should celebrate with  modesty and remember to share with those that are less privileged. We should not lose hope in the fact that this country shall be great again.


We should therefore use this period to offer special prayers for our leaders, so that they will be led aright as they deliver on their promises to make life better for the entire citizenry," the statement concluded.
