OLUBADAN: OBA LEKAN BALOGUN LIVED A FULFILLED LIFE AND IMPACTED POSITIVELY ON OUR SOCIETY , OYCSDA CHAIRMAN HON. ADEAGA MOURNS PASSAGE OF OLUBADAN COMMISERATE WITH GOV. MAKINDE
The Chairman of Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency (OYCSDA) Hon. Abideen Adetokunbo Adeaga has mourned the Demise of the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Mohood Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II.
Oba Mohood Lekan Balogun who reigned for the period of two years as Olubadan of Ibadanland, before joining his ancestors late Thursday evening at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, at the age of 81.
Hon. Abideen Adetokunbo Adeaga sent his condolences message to newsmen through his media team to sympathized with the Olubadan-in-Council, the Oyo State Traditional Council, the people of Ibadanland and the indigent and residents of Oyo State.
While saying that the late Olubadan ruled with the fear of God, led his people with utmost diligence and unassuming dedication, the lawmaker commended his strong adherence for peace, progress and development of Ibadanland.
Hon. Adeaga described Oba Mohood has a good king who lacks distrust of those around him. He is a generous man who wants the best for his kingdom.
“On behalf of our myself, the people of Lagelu/Akinleye federal constituency and Oyo state in general, I want to extend my condolences to the Olubadan-in-Council, the Oyo State Traditional Council and the people of Ibadanland and Oyo State in general.
“In this moment of grief, I want to also sympathize with the state government lead by His Excellence Engr. Oluseyi Makinde the immediate family members of the late Oba Dr. Mohood Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II.
“It is my prayer that God, forgive him and have mercy on him, keep him safe and sound and forgive his sins, honour his rest and ease his entrance into paradise.
