The recent condemnation of Akeem Olatunji by a certain group for cautioning party members or groups within the PDP in Oyo State is misguided and unfortunate. Akeem Olatunji’s stance was aimed at fostering party unity and ensuring that all members align with the vision and leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde. As the overall leader of the PDP in Oyo State, Governor Makinde’s choice of aspirants is crucial in maintaining the progress and stability that the party has achieved. Any attempt to undermine this leadership by showing sympathy for other aspirants without considering the governor’s input threatens the cohesion of the party. The Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Hon. Akeem Olatunji, has assured the Orisumibare community that the road leading to Bare will receive urgent attention after the rainy season, which he estimated will be around November or December.  He made this commitment during the Inaugural Development Summit and award ceremony organized by the Orisumibare Community Development Forum at Ebenezer Primary School, located off the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ibadan. The Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo state has commenced the training of 1,000 youths in various vocational skills targeted at generating employment that would enable self reliance and financial independence for participants. The training commenced yesterday, September, 19, at the Local Government Secretariat, Idi-Ayunre, Ibadan.  The vocational skills participants are currently undergoing training for include hairdressing, barbing, tailoring, making of local fabrics otherwise called 'Kampa', Catering, and Headgear making also called 'Gele'.  The executive chairman of the LG, Engr. The relocation was part of decisive moves by the Olatunji led LG administration aimed at resolving long-standing issues surrounding grassroots development in line with the primary purpose of creating LCDA which has been abandoned for a long time. Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has addressed concerns over the purported N570 billion Hardship Fund allegedly given to the 36 states by the Federal Government. The governor in his news letter clarified that the funds were part of the World Bank-assisted NG-CARES project, a loan program aimed at supporting states in Nigeria with COVID-19 recovery.
